Whew! We’re almost at the end of July already. Yes, this means we’ve made it through the first half of the year, but it also means that the very first cohort of BRANDING 101 is officially over!
I have to be honest and say that as much as I’m ecstatic that our attendees have graduated, received their certificates and are well-equipped to start sharing their brands with the world. It’s also bittersweet to see them go!
It has been an amazing 4 sessions since the workshop began and we’ve laughed and learned so much since we said our hello’s on April 16th (2022).
For those of you who are hearing about the course for the first time, let me briefly explain what it is, before I recap how it went.
ABOUT BRANDING 101
Designed By Jujubeng has partnered with WAP BRUNCH to bring you BRANDING 101 - an unmissable opportunity to build your brand.
Whether you already have a business that you would like to scale up, an idea to start up or just want to develop your skill set – there is something for every attendee to take away from the course.
The workshop takes place over 4 months (one day a month) and we cover a different topic of branding in each session with a graduation ceremony to round it up at the end.

ABOUT THE FIRST COHORT
Our first cohort ran from April to July 2022 and as all the ladies involved will tell you - it was extremely beneficial and we had so much fun!
Not only is BRANDING 101 educational but it’s also an amazing way to network with like-minded women. We had a wonderful range of business types and every single attendee had something magnificent to offer regardless of whether they knew it coming into the course or not.
From the introduction to graduation, every session was interactive and the days have never flown by so quickly. Each lady received a course pack which included the BRANDING 101 workbook (Pictured below). They loved it and could see the effort we had put into the course - simply by flicking through the course materials.
During the planning stages of the sessions, it was important for us to address the various learning styles that our participants would have. There’s no point attending a course that you don’t actually benefit from - so I can’t begin to explain how thrilled I was when our students expressed that they were all able to gain what they wanted and more from the course.
GRADUATION & ALUMNI
Speaking of gaining things, we wanted to reward our students for their participation and also give them extra tools and opportunities to build their businesses further.
The graduation ceremony was fantastic and for Queen (WAPBRUNCH) and I, it was rather emotional! We had witnessed the growth of our ladies before our eyes and graduation gave our attendees the opportunity to invite their family and friends to celebrate with us. Our graduates gave their final speeches, received their BRANDING 101 certificates, became part of the alumni and we also announced the winner of the ‘Best in class award’.
